The Greatness of His Favor (그분의 은혜의 위대함)

♡ “오늘의 성경”(Today's Scripture) ♡

1. 읽을말씀 : 에베소서 2장 4절~7절 (Ephesians 2:4~7, NKJV)

“4 긍휼이 풍성하신 하나님이 우리를 사랑하신
그 큰 사랑을 인하여

5 허물로 죽은 우리를 그리스도와 함께 살리셨고
(너희는 은혜로 구원을 받은 것이라)

6 또 함께 일으키사 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께
하늘에 앉히시니

7 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리에게 자비하심으로써
그 은혜의 지극히 풍성함을 오는 여러 세대에
나타내려 하심이라”

“4 But God, / [who is rich / in mercy],
/ [because of His great love /
with [which He loved us]], /

5 even [when we were dead / in trespasses,
/ made us / alive / together / with Christ
/ (by grace / [you have been saved]), /

6 and raised us up / together, / and made us
/ [sit together / in the heavenly places /
 in Christ Jesus]], /

7 [that in the ages / [to come] / He might show
the exceeding riches / of His grace /
in His kindness / toward us / in Christ Jesus].”

 

2. 제목 : “The Greatness of His Favor” (그분의 은혜의 위대함)


Oftentimes, people set their focus on what God has done in the past — how He parted the Red Sea or stopped the sun for Joshua or fed thousands of people with just a little boy’s small lunch. Yes, God has performed many amazing miracles throughout history, and it’s important that we give Him praise. But at the same time, we also have to look forward to what God wants to do in our lives today.

사람들은 종종 하나님께서 과거에 행하신 일에 초점을 맞춥니다. 그분께서 홍해를 가르셨거나 여호수아를 위해 태양을 멈추셨거나 어린 소년의 작은 점심으로 수천 명의 사람들을 먹이신 일 말입니다. 그렇습니다. 하나님께서는 역사를 통틀어 놀라운 기적을 많이 행하셨고, 우리가 그분께 찬양을 드리는 것이 중요합니다. 하지만 동시에 우리는 하나님께서 오늘날 우리 삶에서 행하고자 하는 일을 기대해야 합니다.

In today’s verse, Paul says that “in the ages to come,” God would do things that exceed anything He’s ever done before. I believe that the “ages to come” is this day and time we’re living in right now. God wants to outdo Himself in our generation! Remember, God is a God of increase! Where you are today is not where you are supposed to stay. He has greater levels of His favor and blessing in store for your future. Dare to dream big! Dare to keep a God-sized vision in front of you! Dare to take hold of every spiritual blessing He has in store for you!

오늘의 구절에서 바울은 "다가올 시대에" 하나님께서 지금까지 행하신 어떤 일보다 더 뛰어난 일을 행하실 것이라고 말합니다. 저는 "다가올 시대"가 바로 지금 우리가 살고 있는 이 시대라고 믿습니다. 하나님께서는 우리 세대에서 자신을 능가하고자 하십니다! 기억하세요, 하나님은 증가하시는 하나님이십니다! 오늘 당신이 있는 곳은 당신이 머물러야 할 곳이 아닙니다. 그분은 당신의 미래를 위해 더 큰 수준의 은총과 축복을 준비해 두셨습니다. 큰 꿈을 꾸세요! 하나님 크기의 비전을 당신 앞에 두세요! 그분께서 당신을 위해 준비해 두신 모든 영적 축복을 붙잡으세요!

3. '오늘'을 위한 '기도' (Prayer for Today)

“Father in heaven, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for showing me Your love. Today I open my heart and mind to You so that I can see the greatness of what You want to do in my life. Use me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen. God Bless You!”
“하늘에 계신 아버지, 당신의 신실함에 감사드립니다. 당신의 사랑을 보여주셔서 감사합니다. 오늘 저는 당신께 제 마음과 생각을 열어서 당신이 제 삶에서 하고자 하는 일의 위대함을 볼 수 있게 해주십시오. 예수님의 이름으로 당신의 영광을 위해 저를 사용해주세요. 아멘. 신이 당신을 축복하시길!”
