It’s easy to get so focused on our dreams our goals and what we want that it consumes us. We can get to the point where we’re not going to be happy until it happens. But I’ve found that if we have to have something in order to be happy, our lives are out of balance. When our goals and dreams start to frustrate us when we lose our peace and are not enjoying life that’s a sure sign that we’re holding on too tightly. What’s the solution? You’ve got to release it. Freedom comes when you say, “God, I’m turning it all over to You. You know my desires, and You know what’s best for me. I’m choosing to trust You and Your timing.”

꿈, 목표, 원하는 것에 너무 집중하다 보면 그것이 우리를 삼켜버리기 쉽습니다. 행복해지기 전까지는 행복할 수 없는 지경에 이를 수 있습니다. 하지만 행복하기 위해 무언가를 가져야 한다면 우리 삶의 균형이 깨진다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 평화를 잃고 삶을 즐기지 못할 때 목표와 꿈이 좌절스러워지기 시작하면 너무 꽉 붙잡고 있다는 확실한 신호입니다. 해결책은 무엇일까요? 놓아줘야 합니다. "하나님, 모든 것을 당신께 맡깁니다. 당신은 제 욕망을 아시고, 저에게 가장 좋은 것이 무엇인지 아십니다. 저는 당신과 당신의 타이밍을 신뢰하기로 선택합니다."라고 말할 때 자유가 찾아옵니다.

When we learn to be content whatever the circumstances, it takes away the power of the enemy. It takes away his ability to frustrate us. Not only that, but by our actions, we show our faith in God. Choose to trust in His timing  choose to live in peace and joy, and find rest knowing that He has good things in store for your future.

어떤 상황에서든 만족하는 법을 배우면 적의 힘이 사라집니다. 우리를 좌절시키는 적의 능력을 없애줍니다. 그뿐만 아니라, 우리는 행동으로 하나님에 대한 믿음을 보여줍니다. 그분의 타이밍을 신뢰하고 평화와 기쁨 속에서 살기로 선택하고 그분께서 당신의 미래를 위해 좋은 것들을 준비해 두셨다는 것을 알면서 안식을 찾으십시오.

“Father in heaven, today I choose to trust in You. I release frustration over the dreams and desires in my heart, knowing that You know what’s best for me. I choose to trust in Your timing because You are faithful in Jesus’ name. Amen.
