1. 읽을말씀 : 잠언 16장 9절(Proverbs 16:9, NIV)

“사람이 마음으로 자기의 앞길을 계획하지만 그 발걸음을 인도하시는 분은 주님이시다”

“In their hearts / humans plan their course,

2. 제목 : “Stay in Sync.” (동기화된 상태를 유지하세요)

Have you ever tried something and got the results you wanted and then tried the same thing again and got different results? This happened to Moses in the Bible. They needed water and God told Moses to strike the rock. He struck the rock and water flowed out freely. Another time they needed water again, and God told Moses, “Speak to the rock.” Do you know what Moses did? He went over and struck the rock. He thought, “Hey, it worked last time. It’ll work this time.” But it didn’t. God had a different plan.

뭔가를 시도해서 원하는 결과를 얻었고, 같은 것을 다시 시도했지만 다른 결과를 얻은 적이 있습니까? 성경에 나오는 모세에게 이런 일이 일어났습니다. 그들에게는 물이 필요했고 하나님은 모세에게 반석을 치라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그가 바위를 치자 물이 자유롭게 흘러나왔습니다. 또 다시 물이 필요했을 때 하나님은 모세에게 “반석에게 명하라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 모세가 무엇을 했는지 아십니까? 그는 다가가서 바위를 쳤다. 그는 생각했습니다. “야, 지난번에는 효과가 있었어. 이번에는 성공할 거예요.” 하지만 그렇지 않았습니다. 하나님은 다른 계획을 갖고 계셨습니다.


The point is that we have to stay open and make adjustments to stay in tune with God’s plan. You can do the same thing the same way you did last time and get different results. It may not be something major, but like Moses, maybe it’s just something small. Sometime a small tweak, a small adjustment can make a major difference in the outcome.

요점은 우리가 열린 마음을 갖고 하나님의 계획과 조화를 이루도록 조정해야 한다는 것입니다. 지난번과 동일한 방법으로 동일한 작업을 수행해도 다른 결과를 얻을 수 있습니다. 큰 일은 아닐지 몰라도 모세처럼 작은 일일 수도 있습니다. 때로는 작은 조정, 작은 조정이 결과에 큰 차이를 만들 수 있습니다.


Today, make sure you aren’t doing things just because it’s the way you always did it before. Instead, listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God inside. Follow His leading and stay in sync with the wonderful plan He has for you!

오늘은 단지 예전에 하던 방식대로 일을 하고 있지는 않은지 확인하세요. 대신 내면에 계신 하나님의 성령의 음성을 들어보십시오. 그분의 인도를 따르고 그분이 당신을 위해 마련하신 놀라운 계획을 따라가십시오!

“Father in heaven, I submit my mind, will and heart to You. Help me to see clearly what Your plan is for me. Help me to stay close to You always, not living in the past, but pressing forward to the new things You have in store for me.

“하늘에 계신 아버지, 제 생각과 뜻과 마음을 당신께 바칩니다. 나를 향한 당신의 계획이 무엇인지 분명히 알 수 있도록 도와주세요. 과거에 머물지 않고, 당신이 저를 위해 준비하신 새로운 일들을 향해 달려가며 항상 당신 곁에 머물 수 있도록 도와주소서.   예수의 이름으로. 아멘. 하나님의 축복이 있기를!"
