“Who Will See God?” (누가 하나님을 볼까요?)

1. 읽을말씀 : 시편 24편 3절~4절 (Psalm 24:3~4, NIV)

“3 여호와의 산에 오를 자가 누구며 그의 거룩한 곳에 설 자가 누구인가
4 곧 손이 깨끗하며 마음이 청결하며 뜻을 허탄한 데에 두지 아니하며 거짓 맹세하지 아니하는 자로다”

“3 Who may ascend the mountain / of the Lord?  // Who may stand / in his holy place?

4 The one / [[who has clean hands and a pure heart], / [who does not trust / in an idol /
or swear / by a false god]].”

 

2. 제목 : “Who Will See God?” (누가 하나님을 볼까요?)

Our God is holy. In order to see Him, we must be holy, too. The good news is that Jesus makes us clean and new when we surrender our lives to Him. The old is gone; the new has come. But the job of keeping our hearts pure, that’s up to us. We have to guard our hearts against strife and bitterness. We have to make sure we don’t allow temptations to contaminate us and take us down the wrong path. We have to be careful about what we watch, what we listen to and who we hang around. All of those outside influences affect us and our decisions. Always remember, what you give your attention to will shape your heart and character.

우리 하나님은 거룩하십니다. 그분을 보려면 우리도 거룩해야 합니다. 좋은 소식은 우리가 그분께 우리의 삶을 드릴 때 예수님께서 우리를 깨끗하고 새롭게 만들어 주신다는 것입니다. 오래된 것은 사라졌습니다. 새로운 것이 왔습니다. 하지만 마음을 순수하게 유지하는 일은 우리에게 달려 있습니다. 우리는 다툼과 비통함으로부터 우리 마음을 지켜야 합니다. 우리는 유혹이 우리를 오염시키고 잘못된 길로 이끌도록 허용하지 않아야 합니다. 우리는 무엇을 보고, 무엇을 듣고, 누구와 어울리는지 조심해야 합니다. 이러한 모든 외부 영향은 우리와 우리의 결정에 영향을 미칩니다. 당신이 주의를 기울이는 것이 당신의 마음과 성격을 형성할 것이라는 점을 항상 기억하십시오.

Make sure to give your attention to the Word of God. Give your attention to worship. Choose forgiveness and keep your heart pure before the Lord. Draw close to Him and rise higher and higher to the place where God is.

반드시 하나님의 말씀에 주의를 기울이십시오. 예배에 주의를 기울이십시오. 용서를 선택하고 주님 앞에서 마음을 순결하게 유지하십시오. 그분께 가까이 다가가서 하나님이 계신 곳으로 점점 더 높이 올라가십시오.


3. '오늘'을 위한 '기도' (Prayer for Today)

“Father in heaven, I want to see You. Open the eyes of my heart. Purify me and cleanse my heart. Help me make the right choices so that I can honor You today and always. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to You in Jesus’ name. Amen. God Bless You!”
“하늘에 계신 아버지, 아버지를 뵙고 싶습니다. 내 마음의 눈을 열어 주소서. 나를 깨끗하게 하시고 내 마음을 깨끗하게 하소서. 제가 오늘도 그리고 언제나 당신을 존경할 수 있도록 올바른 선택을 하도록 도와주세요. 내 입의 말과 내 마음의 묵상이 당신을 기쁘시게 되기를 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘. 하나님의 축복이 있기를!"
