♡ “오늘의 성경”(Today's Scripture) ♡

1. 읽을말씀 : 사무엘상 30장 6절 (1 Samuel 30:6, AMP)

“백성들이 자녀들 때문에 마음이 슬퍼서 다윗을 돌로 치자 하니 다윗이 크게 다급하였으나 그의
하나님 여호와를 힘입고 용기를 얻었더라”

“David was greatly distressed, / [for the men spoke / of [stoning him] / [because the souls / of them all /
were bitterly grieved, / each man / for his sons and daughters]. //But David encouraged and strengthened himself
/ in the Lord his God.”

2. 제목 : “Encourage Yourself.” (스스로를 격려하세요)

It’s good to have friends and family around to cheer you up when you’re down, but in order to truly live in victory, that encouragement has to come from the inside. When your mind is telling you it’s not worth it, when your circumstances seem difficult, deep down inside, your spirit has to have the resolve that says, “I refuse to settle where I am.” That’s what David had to do. He was facing a major setback. His family was killed, his city was destroyed, and his own people were now against him, but he still managed to encourage himself in the Lord.

낙담했을 때 당신을 격려해 줄 친구와 가족이 곁에 있는 건 좋은 일이지만, 진정으로 승리 속에서 살기 위해서는 그 격려가 내면에서 나와야 합니다. 마음이 그럴 가치가 없다고 말할 때, 상황이 어려워 보일 때, 깊은 내면에서 당신의 영은 "내가 있는 곳에 안주하지 않겠다"고 말하는 결의를 가져야 합니다. 다윗이 해야 했던 것이 바로 그것입니다. 그는 큰 좌절에 직면해 있었습니다. 그의 가족은 죽임을 당했고, 그의 도시는 파괴되었으며, 그의 백성은 이제 그를 대적했지만, 그는 여전히 주님 안에서 자신을 격려했습니다.

 

How did he do that? He replayed in his mind the victories from the past. He recounted God’s faithfulness. As he rehearsed over and over the goodness of God, strength began to rise in his heart.

그는 어떻게 그렇게 했을까요? 그는 과거의 승리를 마음속으로 되뇌었습니다. 그는 하나님의 신실함을 이야기했습니다. 하나님의 선하심을 거듭거듭 되뇌면서 그의 마음에 힘이 솟아오르기 시작했습니다.


There are so many places you can see the hand of God at work. Thank Him for saving you today. Thank Him for the miracle of life. Thank Him for His faithfulness. Focus on the fact that God didn’t bring you this far to leave you now. Stir up that inner strength and encouragement. As you do, you’ll rise higher and higher and live the life of victory the Lord prepared for you.

하나님의 손길이 작용하는 것을 볼 수 있는 곳이 너무나 많습니다. 오늘 당신을 구원해 주신 하나님께 감사하십시오. 삶의 기적에 감사하십시오. 그의 신실함에 감사하십시오. 하나님께서 당신을 지금 떠나기 위해 여기까지 데려오지 않으셨다는 사실에 집중하십시오. 내면의 힘과 격려를 불러일으키세요. 그렇게 할 때, 당신은 점점 더 높이 올라가서 주님께서 당신을 위해 준비하신 승리의 삶을 살게 될 것입니다.

prepared for my future. I thank You for making a way out of no way, and I will bless You always in Jesus name.
