1. 읽을말씀 : 갈라디아서 2장 20절 (Galatians 2:20, ESV)

“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니
그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라

이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을
버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라”

“I have been crucified / with Christ. //
It is no longer I / [who live], / but Christ / [who lives / in me]. //

And the life / [I now live / in the flesh] / I live / by faith /
in the Son of God, / [who loved me / and gave himself / for me].”

 

2. 제목 : “The God Kind of Faith” (하나님과 같은 믿음의 종류)

Faith is all around us. People have faith in so many different things : faith that a friend will be true, faith that your job is taking you on a certain career path, faith that the chair you are sitting on is going to hold you up! Faith is simply believing in something. But there are different kinds, or levels, of faith. We’ve all been given a measure of faith. The question is, what are you doing with it?

믿음은 우리 주변에 있습니다. 사람들은 매우 다양한 것에 대한 믿음을 가지고 있습니다. 친구가 진실할 것이라는 믿음, 당신의 직업이 당신을 특정한 진로로 인도할 것이라는 믿음, 당신이 앉아 있는 의자가 당신을 지탱해 줄 것이라는 믿음! 믿음은 단순히 무언가를 믿는 것입니다. 그러나 믿음에는 다양한 종류나 수준이 있습니다. 우리 모두는 어느 정도의 믿음을 받았습니다. 문제는 그것으로 무엇을 하고 있느냐는 것입니다.

The God kind of faith will cause you to believe for things when you don’t even know how they’ll happen. It will take you further than you ever dreamed. It probably won’t make sense in your mind, but you have to allow your spirit to rise higher than your thinking.

하나님과 같은 믿음은 일이 어떻게 일어날지조차 모르는 상황에서도 당신으로 하여금 그것을 믿게 만들 것입니다. 그것은 당신이 꿈꿔왔던 것보다 더 멀리 나아갈 것입니다. 아마도 당신의 마음으로는 이해가 되지 않을 것입니다. 그러나 당신은 당신의 영이 당신의 생각보다 더 높이 올라가도록 허용해야 합니다.

Don’t ever talk yourself out of believing. Don’t focus on all the reasons why not ; instead, allow supernatural faith to rise up within you. Meditate on His Word that says you can do all things through Christ, and you are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. As you rise up in faith, He’ll take you places you’ve never dreamed, and you will live the abundant life He has for you!
