BROKEN TO BE SHARED 함께 나누며 실의를 극복하기 [ Luke 9:11 - 9:17 ] - hymn 320 You give them something to eat. [ LUKE 9:13 ] We met every Thursday after he lost his wife in a car accident. Sometimes he came with questions to which no answers exist; sometimes he came with memories he wanted to relive. Over time, he accepted that even though the accident was a result of the brokenness in our world, God could work in the midst of it. A few years later, he taught a class at our church about grief and how to lament well. Soon, he became our go-to guide for people experiencing loss. Sometimes it’s when we don’t feel like we have anything to offer that God takes our “not enough” and makes it “more than enough.” Jesus told His disciples to give the people something to eat. They’d protested that there was nothing to give; Jesus multiplied their meager supplies and then turned back to the disciples and gave them the bread, as if to say, “I meant it: You give them something to eat!” (LUKE 9:13–16). Christ will do the miraculous, but He often chooses to involve us. Jesus says to us, “Place who you are and what you have in My hands. Your broken life. Your story. Your frailty and your failure, your pain and your suffering. Put it in My hands. You’ll be surprised what I can do with it.” Jesus knows that out of our emptiness, He can bring fullness. Out of our weakness, He can reveal His strength. What brokenness have you experienced? What would it look like to offer that experience to Jesus and ask Him to bring life to others from it? Dear Jesus, take my “not enough” and make it “more than enough.” Take my pain, my failure, and my frailty, and make it something more. 11. but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. 12. Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said, "Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here." 13. He replied, "You give them something to eat." They answered, "We have only five loaves of bread and two fish -- unless we go and buy food for all this crowd." 14. (About five thousand men were there.) But he said to his disciples, "Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each." 15. The disciples did so, and everybody sat down. 16. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to set before the people. 17. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 당신은 어떤 실의를 경험하였습니까? 그 경험을 예수님께 드리고 그것으로 다른 사람들이 활기를 얻게 해 달라고 주님께 간구하면 어떨까요? 사랑하는 예수님, 나의 “부족함”을 가지고 “넘치는 것”으로 만들어 주소서. 나의 고통, 나의 실패, 나의 연약함을 더 나은 무엇으로 만들어 주소서. 11. 무리가 알고 따라왔거늘 예수께서 그들을 영접하사 하나님 나라의 일을 이야기하시며 병 고칠 자들은 고치시더라 12. 날이 저물어 가매 열두 사도가 나아와 여짜오되 무리를 보내어 두루 마을과 촌으로 가서 유하며 먹을 것을 얻게 하소서 우리가 있는 여기는 빈 들이니이다 13. 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 먹을 것을 주라 하시니 여짜오되 우리에게 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리밖에 없으니 이 모든 사람을 위하여 먹을 것을 사지 아니하고서는 할 수 없사옵나이다 하니 14. 이는 남자가 한 오천 명 됨이러라 제자들에게 이르시되 떼를 지어 한 오십 명씩 앉히라 하시니 15. 제자들이 이렇게 하여 다 앉힌 후 16. 예수께서 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지사 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주어 무리에게 나누어 주게 하시니 17. 먹고 다 배불렀더라 그 남은 조각을 열두 바구니에 거두니라
