♡ 'Today's Scripture'(오늘의 성경) ♡

 

1. 사도행전 20장 24절(Acts 20:24, NKJV)

 

“내가 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라”

“But none / of these things / move me ; nor(노얼.-도아니다) do I count my life / dear to myself, / so [that I may finish my race / with joy, / and the ministry(사역) / [which I received / from the Lord Jesus], / [to testify(증인) / to the gospel / of the grace / of God]].”

 

 

 

2. 제목 : “Don’t Be Moved.”(영향받지 마세요)

 

I think it’s interesting(인터리스팅.재미있는) that the apostle(어파서어) Paul never prayed for every challenge(찰는지) to go away.

He prayed that God would give him the strength(스트렝크.힘,강점) to go through them with a good attitude.

He sought(사아드.추구했다) emotional maturity(이모셔널 메츄어리.정서적성숙). Our level(레버,수준) of emotional maturity can be seen by how much it takes to get us upset(게러저 엎셋.우리를화나게하다).

You’ve heard the saying, “A small pot boils(팟 보이어스.냄비가끊다) the quickest(쿠이케스트.가장빠른).” That means if we don’t keep our emotions in check, we’ll always be stressed out and make mountains out of molehills(모어헤어스.산골짜기).

If we lose our cool(쿠어.냉정) because our child forgot his or her homework(홈워키.숙제.가정일), or we’re aggravated(아글베이렏.악화된) because somebody didn’t do something we wanted them to do, then we’re not passing the test. We’ve got to grow(갓투 그라우.성장해야해) and mature(메추얼,성숙한) to the point where we can say what the apostle(어파서어) Paul said,

“None of these things move me.”

He said in effect(이너펙트.사실상), “It’s no big deal(띠어.의미,거래.정책.불법적으로사다,팔다). I’m not worried about it. I trust God.

I have a destiny to fulfill(투 포페어.만족시키다,이행하다,발휘하다).”

Today, choose to see things from God’s perspective(펄스펙티브.원근법,관점.꿰뚤어보는눈).

Keep your emotions in check.

Don’t be moved by your circumstances ; instead,

trust God because He is faithful.

He’s working behind the scenes(바하인드 신스,무대뒤에서), and

He will fulfill(포페어.이행하다) His promises to you!
