마가복음(막) 8장

33. 예수께서 돌이키사 제자들을 보시며 베드로를 꾸짖어 가라사대 사단아 내 뒤로 물러가라 네가 하나님의 일을 생각지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는도다 하시고
ㆍㆍ"Get behind me, Satan!" he said. "You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

요한일서(요일) 2장

16. 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로 좇아 온 것이 아니요 세상으로 좇아 온 것이라
16. For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world.
17. 이 세상도, 정욕도 지나가되 오직 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 이는 영원히 거하느니라
17. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
